Manchester City academy graduate James McAtee is nearing an exit from the club in the summer transfer window as reports have emerged that the 22-year-old is on the verge of a move to the Bundesliga.

Along with Jack Grealish and Kalvin Phillips, McAtee now also joins the list of the possible departures for Man City this summer. While the youngster has a contract with the Cityzens until June 2026 and the club doesn't consider him untouchable, an exit still appears to be almost confirmed.

As reported by Transfermarkt, his market value is around £17m, and Manchester City could let him leave if an offer around £25m arrives, which would make him one of the most profitable sales of the club in this transfer window.

Although the McAtee has sparked interest among Premier League clubs, Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt are currently in pole position to sign the 22-year-old.

McAtee has also reportedly travelled to Frankfurt today to discuss a possible transfer; however, there have been no formal agreements as of now, with talks set to begin between the two parties in the coming days.

Nico Gonzalez also set for a shock exit from Manchester City this summer?!

Former FC Barcelona and FC Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez is also reportedly considering leaving Manchester City after having arrived in England just six months ago for a transfer fee of €50m.

The 23-year-old, labelled as “Mini Rodri” by Pep Guardiola, has made just 11 appearances for the Cityzens, spending most of his time at the club so far on the bench. With Rodri's return now, Nico's chances of breaking into the starting XI might get reduced even more.

As a result, the La Masia graduate is preferring a move elsewhere in order to get regular playing time under his belt, with the Spaniard’s agents reportedly making contact with clubs in Europe and the Middle East over a possible move this summer.

Nico still has four years remaining on his contract with Manchester City and has not even spent a full season with the club, which makes this decision come as a major surprise for City and its supporters.

As per multiple reports, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Nico and are closely monitoring his situation at the moment, as Thomas Frank is reportedly in search of a strong holding midfielder.
