Portuguese star Joao Felix has revealed that he would love the prospect of staying at Milan beyond his 6-month loan deal, which runs down at the end of the season.

Having joined on a seven-year deal from Atletico Madrid last summer, Felix left Chelsea after just four months to join the Italian giants on the deadline day of the winter transfer window.

Felix was struggling to get enough game time at Chelsea under manager Enzo Maresca, due to which he decided to look for a move away from the Bridge.

AC Milan have qualified for the UCL RO16, which prompted them to also improve their squad depth along with quality. As a result, the Rossoneri swooped in late to bag Joao Felix in the winter transfer window.

What does Joao Felix bring to AC Milan?

Many fans have started to believe that Joao Felix and Milan are a match made in heaven, while also believing that the Rossoneri may have found the missing piece in their puzzle, required to get themselves back on track this season.

Felix scored on his debut against Roma in Coppa Italia and also produced a stellar display against Empoli in Serie A.

The 25-year-old has already made an impact at the club with his performance in the first two games for them. His versatile playing style and excellent ball control have opened up a lot of tactical options for coach Sergio Conceiçao.

Conceiçao now has multiple options up front and is able to adjust formations accordingly.

Felix has been deployed as a second striker in Conceiçao's system and is allowed to attack the free space, also allowing him to get plenty of touches in the opposition half.

This move would be a great deal for Milan as well as for Felix, if the Rossoneri are able to sign the Portuguese permanently from Chelsea in the upcoming summer.
