FC Barcelona are well known for scouting young talents and shaping them into becoming the world's best, with their academy, La Masia, being one of their greatest strengths over the years.
Even during the club's biggest financial crisis, La Masia came to Barcelona's aid, as it has produced gems like Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Gavi, Fermin Lopez, Marc Casado and many more, who have now become an integral part of the first team.
As a result, Hansi Flick has shown confidence in these young academy talents, who played a pivotal role in their last season's success.
However, Barça are aiming to add even more great talents to their squad in order to ensure a bright future ahead for them. As per reports, the Catalan giants are scouting the 16-year-old sensation, Mikkel Bro Hansen, following his impressive breakout season at Norwegian club Bodø/Glimt.
The club's sporting director, Havard Sakariassen, has revealed that the youngster has attracted a lot of interest from top European clubs, which also includes FC Barcelona. Barça are reported to admire his eye for a goal and feel that he has the potential to become one of the top goal scorers in the world in the coming years.
However, Bødo aren't keen on selling their youth prospect right now so that he could develop further before leaving for a top club in the near future.
