Brazilian star Rodrygo Goes could finally part ways with Real Madrid this summer, after reports of his fallout with Los Blancos have emerged again following his lack of game time in the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup so far.

The 24-year-old was once again snubbed from Real Madrid's starting lineup against Red Bull Salzburg in the CWC final group stage game, leaving him heavily frustrated. With tensions rising between the club and the player's camp, a summer exit now highly appears to be on the cards.

The Brazilian international surely would have hoped for more game time with Kylian Mbappé missing the entire group stage due to gastrointestinal illness. However, as per data provided by Opta, Rodrygo was handed just 88 minutes on the pitch throughout the course of the entire group stage by new manager Xabi Alonso, who preferred starting Gonzalo Garcia over him.

On top of that, Alonso's initial statements had indicated that the Spaniard is planning on giving an improved role in the squad to the winger; however, his actions have indicated otherwise.

As a result, the player's camp has grown frustrated and feels that he could be left as a bench warmer heading into the new season, especially with the addition of an impressive academy talent like Gonzalo Garcia.

Arteta and co. are "completely focused" on signing Rodrygo

Arsenal are reportedly being linked to the Brazilian winger, who are planning to bring him in as a marquee addition to the squad this summer. With Viktor Gyökeres and Benjamin Sesko already on their roster, the Gunners are now closely monitoring Rodrygo's situation.

Mikel Arteta and co. have already been heating up this transfer window with key signings already being made to bolster the squad. The Gunners have already signed Martin Zubimendi, Kepa, and Christian Norgaard and are also close to agreeing on a deal for centre-back Christian Mosquera from Valencia.

However, signing Rodrygo would not be an easy task at all. As per 443, Real Madrid are demanding at least €80 million for their star winger, to which Arsenal have agreed to, but not all at once.

The Gunners are set to offer a unique deal to the Galacticos, where they would pay €50m upfront, make a second payment of €15m later and then make a third payment of €15m more to conclude the deal.

The Los Blancos will let Rodrygo leave for this sum if the Brazilian makes up his mind about leaving the club and causes no trouble in his departure.

As of now, he's focused with Real Madrid as they are set to face Juventus in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup after emerging as group winners. Rodrygo will be hoping to sort his future out before the competition ends so that he doesn't get too late in joining his next club's squad training for the pre-season, in case he does decide to leave.
