Liverpool have set a £50 million price tag for their young talent Harvey Elliott as West Ham are looking to approach the England U-21 Euro star for a potential transfer to the London Stadium this summer.

As per our sources, the Reds see Elliott as a future prospect and do not want to let him go unless an offer above £40-50 million arrives. The Merseyside giants are also preferring to include a buy-back clause in the deal as well, if it goes through.

West Ham are looking to bolster their squad following the recent departure of Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham Hotspur. The sale has brought them an adequate influx of cash, which could be used to strengthen their squad and quality, especially in the middle of the park.

The Hammers have promising Harvey Elliott regular gametime, something which the 22-year-old hasn't been able to receive at Merseyside so far, making just two Premier League starts last season.

Graham Potter’s side are also reportedly interested in another Liverpool youngster, Tyler Morton, who is also reportedly seeking more game time to develop himself.

Who will replace Mohammed Kudus at West Ham?

Mohammed Kudus had been one of the most consistent and important players for West Ham in the last two seasons, which does make it a tricky task for the Hammers to replace him.

However, the London club has come up with an answer to this question, with Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague appearing as the top replacement for Kudus.

The 20-year-old is a versatile winger with a high defensive work rate as well, which has impressed Graham Potter and co. a lot. Diouf also impressed the West Ham scouts in Senegal’s stunning victory against England last month, convincing the Hammers to go after him.

Potter, who prefers to stick with his 3-4-2-1 formation, is particularly interested in signing wingers who can also contribute defensively, which suits Diouf perfectly. West Ham are in negotiations with Slavia over a deal worth £22 plus £5 million in add-ons, with the deal currently in its final stages.
