Jamal Musiala pens down a new deal with Bayern Munich until 2030

The latest news from the Bayern Munich camp comes as an absolute delight for the fans, as Jamal Musiala has just agreed to a contract extension with the club.
As per FC Bayern’s official website, Musiala’s new contract will be valid until the summer of 2030.
The 21-year-old midfielder has decided to commit his future to the Bavarian giants amidst the speculations of a possible departure in the summer.
Bayern Munich’s president, Herbert Hainer, expressed his delight over Musiala's latest deal by saying, “This contract extension is an important step for Jamal Musiala and for FC Bayern. Jamal has taken another big step forward this season, and we’re delighted that we’ll continue our journey together.”
He further added, “He’s a truly exceptional player. Sometimes you feel like the rules of gravity don’t apply to him. Credit to our sporting management and the board. Today is a very good day for FC Bayern.”
A big blow for Barcelona in their pursuit of Musiala
It was being reported that FC Barcelona were plotting a potential move for Jamal Musiala in order to sign him in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Barcelona’s manager, Hansi Flick, has expressed his admiration towards the 21-year-old after having previously coached him at Bayern and the German national team.
As a result, the German manager was reportedly planning to make a move for Musiala in the summer in order to strengthen his inconsistent midfield.
However, Musiala's new contract with Bayern Munich surely puts an end to the rumours of a possible departure for the star midfielder, coming in as a big blow for FC Barcelona in their pursuit of him.
