Liverpool have reportedly reached agreements with their star players, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, for the extension of their respective contracts.
According to Anfield Edition, both superstars have already signed new deals, committing their futures to the club amidst the uncertainty and speculations.
While nothing has been made official yet, the Liverpool fans would surely feel some level of optimism with this news.
Situation of the Liverpool superstars
Both Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah have their contracts running down this summer. Liverpool's delay in sealing their contract extensions has shocked the fans and even started to give them major stress.
Mo Salah’s situation has been a worrying one for the Liverpool fans since the beginning due to his strong links to Saudi Arabia and his worrying responses to the questions regarding his future.
As per reports, multiple Saudi Pro League clubs are in the race to try and sign the Liverpool No. 11, with Al-Hilal appearing to be the frontrunners.
According to The Sun, Al-Hilal are preparing to make a two-year contract offer for Salah, which is expected to be worth more than €65 million.
On the other hand, Virgil van Dijk's situation has been quite a calm one since the beginning.
The Liverpool skipper has always offered positive responses regarding his contract situation, providing major relief to the fans.
The Dutch captain has also not been linked to any clubs for a possible move in the summer, further signifying the likeliness of his stay.
No agreement for Trent yet

As per multiple reports that Liverpool have still not reached an agreement with Trent Alexander-Arnold, despite sealing Salah's and Van Dijk's deals.
Anfield Edition also reports that the Reds are not going to announce the contract extension of Van Dijk and Mo Salah anytime soon, in order to avoid putting the spotlight on Trent, who is yet to make a decision on his future.
With Real Madrid knocking on the door, the Englishman has a very difficult decision to make: play for the biggest club in the world or potentially become the biggest legend of your boyhood club.
