Real Madrid are looking to facilitate an exit for Brazilian super star Rodrygo this summer, and with the lack of game time under Xabi Alonso in the Club World Cup, it seems pretty clear that his time at the Bernabeu is coming to an end.
However, in a massively surprising turn of events, as per BR Football, Vinicius Jr’s future is also not fully guaranteed for now, with the Brazilian's camp having been scuffling over a contract dispute the Real Madrid management for almost a year now.
Kylian Mbappe's arrival saw Real Madrid make him the highest-paid player in the team, paying him weekly wages nearly up to £590,000. Vinicius Junior is also reportedly demanding the same wages, which has led to a major contract dispute.
With Los Blancos not being in a position to offer him his demands, and with only two years remaining on his current deal, Vini Jr. could possibly be heading towards a shock exit in the near future, unless both parties manage to find a middle ground.
However, at the moment, Real Madrid's president Florentino Perez has slammed a straight “NO” to Vinicius and his camp's massive wage demands, with Spanish outlet MD reporting that if a good offer lands for the Brazilian, the Galacticos will now consider it.
With Vinicius receiving record-breaking offers from the Middle-East and also with interest coming from several top European clubs, the Brazilian could be forced to consider a shock exit if his contract dispute is not settled soon.
Real Madrid receive another blow as top defensive target agrees to extend his contract with Arsenal
Real Madrid have been looking to reinforce their backline, as it has become their weak link, which has been quite evident in their recent performances. The Galacticos are now reportedly even more desperate to bring in defensive recruits after their embarrassing loss against Paris Saint-Germain in the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final.
PSG managed to completely expose Real Madrid's vulnerabilities at the back, which has prompted the club to look for more defensive signings, even after bringing in Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen this summer.
As per reports from earlier this summer, Madrid had labelled Arsenal's towering centre-back William Saliba as their "no. 1 priority" for the summer, but the Gunners had quickly turned down any approaches for him.

As a result, Real Madrid went on to sign Dean Huijsen instead, aiming to make another approach for Saliba next summer or maybe even in January.
However, in a massive blow for the mighty Los Blancos, the French defender has reportedly chosen to extend his contract with Arsenal, possibly ending any chances of Real Madrid signing him.
In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, the 22-year-old admitted that he is in talks with the Gunners over a contract extension, and it's his desire to continue in North London.
“I hope it gets done soon,” said Saliba when he was asked about his potential contract extension, with his current deal set to expire in 2027.
