Real Betis are prepared to make a last-ditch attempt to sign Antony from Manchester United, with their latest offer labelled to be quite unique and bizarre, as per latest reports.

Despite losing the UEFA Conference League finals to Chelsea, the Andalusian club managed to finish sixth in the La Liga table and managed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League thanks to Antony's stunning heroics.

The 25-year-old, who had been labelled as a “flop” in the Premier League, quickly turned his career around during the loan deal at Betis while also becoming a fan favourite, even boosting shirt sales.

With Manchester United keen on parting ways with the Brazilian international permanently, with the intention of freeing up his expensive wages in order to acquire new signings, Betis still seem optimistic about securing a move for the 25-year-old in the summer.

Reports have claimed that the Red Devils understand that they won't be able to strike a profit from Antony's sale but are still demanding at least €35m, which Real Betis cannot afford to pay at the moment.

As a result, a dual-ownership deal could be brokered between the two clubs where Betis will acquire a percentage of the player with the requirement to buy higher stakes as the years progress. This potential move wouldn't involve a direct sale but would include a sell-on fee on Antony for Man United if Betis agree to make a €20m payment for the Brazilian.

Manchester United have more options on the table to sell Antony if the Real Betis deal fails to comply

Manchester United are confident of striking a good deal for Antony even if Real Betis decide not to purchase the Brazilian winger due to their financial struggles.

As per Goal, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also reported to be interested in the 25-year-old, as both clubs seek to bolster their attacking prowess and are even capable of offering more wages to Antony than what Real Betis can.

There is also a slight possibility of Antony reuniting with his ex-boss Erik ten Hag at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. However, the Brazilian winger is keen on a move to Spain.

Betis aim to negotiate and pull the deal down to around €20m, hoping that Manchester United will agree to their dual ownership offer as the Red Devils seek to get rid of the Brazilian imminently.

Antony has cemented himself in the hearts of all the Real Betis fans in such a short period of time, with his phenomenal match-winning performances, he could prove the quote, "Never fall in love with a loan player," to be true in case Betis fail to reunite with him.
