Manchester United's star forward Marcus Rashford, who is currently on loan at FC Barcelona, has finally opened up about his thoughts on his childhood club's condition, which seems to be stuck in a "no man's land" since Sir Alex Ferguson's departure.

The Red Devils have failed to secure a stable manager since Alex Ferguson stepped down from the managerial role back in 2013 and have appointed a staggering eight different managers, Ruben Amorim being the latest one of the lot.

A player like Rashford, who has been at the club since he was seven, has been a close witness of everything that has happened with Manchester United in the past decade, where many talented players have struggled to settle in and make a mark at the Theatre of Dreams.

Marcus Rashford has been one of the few exceptions who managed to rise and make a name for themselves, despite the unstable situation at the club; however, he eventually also lost his place in the team.

With the Englishman now also forced to leave, earlier on loan to Aston Villa and now to Barcelona, it seems that the situation at Man United is even worse than what one might imagine.

What did Rashford say about Manchester United?

Marcus Rashford recently stated his unhappiness about the current situation at Manchester United in an episode of Gary Lineker's The Rest is Football podcast.

When asked, the 27-year-old said, "When Ferguson was in charge, not only were there principles for the first team, but they were for the whole academy, so you could pick players from 15 years, a full generation, and they'd all understand the principles of playing the Manchester United way." (sic)

Rashford also indicated that the club is in a "no man's land", where the frequent turnover of managers is simply getting them nowhere, stating, "People say we've been in a transition for years. To be in a transition, you have to start the transition. So it's like the actual transition's not started yet." (sic)

He further added, "You see it with any team that's been successful over a period of time -- they have principles that any coach that comes in, any player that comes in, has to align to these principles or be able to add to these principles." (sic)

The 27-year-old England international also believes that United endured one of the worst ever Premier League seasons under the management of Ruben Amorim last season, where they finished 15th and recorded their worst-ever finish to a league campaign
