Manchester United secured a thrilling win in ‘Fergie time’ to win 3-2 against Fulham in the Premier League. The Red Devils slipped a two-goal lead, but Benjamin Sesko bagged a stunning goal in injury time to snatch all three points from the Cottagers.

Casemiro and Matheus Cunha put Carrick’s side two goals up, but Fulham somehow managed to crawl their way back in. The Brazil international, who announced his departure from Old Trafford at the end of the season, is on a superb run of form in his last dance with the club.

Casemiro had a dominating presence in the middle of the park as well, winning seven of his nine duels; only Harry Maguire had won more duels than the Brazilian against Fulham.

Carrick has improved the team quite a lot since Ruben Amorim's departure, winning four games and drawing one in his first five league games. Only Sir Matt Busby and Ole Solskjær have a better record, winning five out of their first five.

The Red Devils are way more fluid up front, but they do have some weaknesses defensively. However, if they manage to sign some quality full-backs next summer, they could very well challenge for the top four and even the Premier League.

Manchester United could bag massive transfer amount for Mason Greenwood on deadline day

Mason Greenwood had left Manchester United back in 2024 following a controversy but has been performing consistently at Ligue-1. The 24-year-old has caught the eye of top clubs in Europe.

Man United agreed on a sell-on clause with Marseille, around 40-50% of the transfer fee to which the French club had reportedly agreed. The fact that Marseille have also qualified for the Champions League, the Red Devils will get further add-ons as per the clause.

United had sold him for £26 million, knowing that if he performs well later and gets a big-money move elsewhere, they could make a good amount from that deal. As per the FFP rules, Greenwood is a homegrown lad, which would mean that all the earnings from the deal could be shown as pure profit on the books.

Greenwood’s valuation is around £60 million right now, and the Premier League giants could walk away with around £10-15 million from the deal, which is massive.
