Marcus Rashford has revealed in an interview that he is under no pressure at FC Barcelona and is enjoying the style of football at the Catalan club as his performances continue to get better with each game.
The 28-year-old joined Barcelona this summer on a loan-to-buy deal from Manchester United following a rift with coach Ruben Amorim. He had spent half of the previous season at Aston Villa but failed to secure a permanent move there.
The Englishman has made a brilliant start to his Barça career so far, bagging six goals and eight assists in just twenty-one appearances. He also earned the national team call-up after a long time for his good run of form.
"I don't see anything here as pressure. It's just, I'm here to play football," Rashford said in the interview. (sic)
He further added, "It's been amazing. I feel welcome; I feel at home. I've just been enjoying every step of the way. It's a new language of football. I've always been, like many people in the world, an admirer of Spanish football.” (sic)
Rashford played a key role in Barcelona's 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday when he provided the assist for Jules Kounde’s equaliser with a sensational cross from the left flank.
The 28-year-old has admitted that Barça’s atmosphere helped bring the best out of him, unlike the poor club environment at Manchester United, which downgrades players further.
"The environment is always pushing us to be the best players we can be, so it's perfect to be in a place like this as a player." (sic)
Should FC Barcelona sign Marcus Rashford permanently next summer?
FC Barcelona have the opportunity to buy Marcus Rashford permanently for €30m next summer. However, the club has not made the final decision regarding the future of the Englishman.
The 28-year-old has revived his career under Hansi Flick. With every game his performances are getting better, and he's growing in confidence as well.
The Catalan giants should aim to buy him permanently, as he suits the German manager's style of football perfectly and can offer versatility up front, being able to operate from both flanks and centrally.

Rashford would want to sign for Barça permanently, and the €30m figure seems quite reasonable for a player of his quality despite their financial condition. Since Man United are desperate to sell him, the Catalans might strike a deal at a lower price as well, which would make signing him a no-brainer.
He offers quality and depth to Flick's dynamic attacking system and certainly in situations where Barça needs a goal, he is a player who can score a goal out of nowhere.
Flick has brought Rashford back to his original best, and he is only going to get better with time. It is felt that the Barça boss will expect the board to sign the Englishman permanently, and it's quite obvious why they must sign him.
