According to recent reports from Football Transfers, there seems to be hope for Casemiro in Saudi Arabia as Cristiano Ronaldo is urging his club, Al-Nassr, to sign the Brazilian midfielder.
The duo shares a historic connection from their past days at Real Madrid, where they won 4 Champions League titles and 2 La Liga titles together.
Their time together at Manchester United, however, did not prove to be successful. Cristiano Ronaldo was very publicly pushed out of the team by the then Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
While Casemiro has stayed with the club for almost 3 years now since his transfer from Real Madrid, his time there could be nearing its end, with his performances over the past 18 months being inconsistent, prompting questions about his long-term suitability in the eyes of the new manager, Ruben Amorim.
What are Al-Nassr planning to offer?
According to Sportskeeda, Al-Nassr are willing to offer Casemiro a lucrative contract worth £650,000 per week, which is significantly higher than his current wage of £350,000 at Manchester United.
Simply Utd already claims that the Saudi Arabia Sovereign Fund has practically closed this deal, with Casemiro allegedly packing his bags to leave Old Trafford.

As the January transfer window draws to a close, the fans will be eagerly waiting to see how this transfer unfolds. Real Madrid fans would be keen to watch a reunion of this duo at Al Nassr, and the stars surely seem to align for this to happen; if not this month, then almost surely in the summer.
Casemiro's departure will come as a big relief for Manchester United
As things stand, Casemiro is one of the English club's highest earners, and his departure would result in substantial savings for the Red Devils.
The club has been seen in the past to be undergoing a strategic review again and again with the arrivals of new managers, and Casemiro's potential departure will be seen, by many, as a part of this process.
On the other hand, Al Nassr would be gaining a world-class midfielder with five UEFA Champions League titles under his belt, though his prime surely seems to be way past him now.
