Manchester City to unveil Omar Marmoush within the next two days

The reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City, have reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt for their star forward, Omar Marmoush. As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, all terms have been agreed upon, with the Egyptian set to fly out to Manchester within the next two days to sign the contract.
A deal worth €80m + add-ons has been agreed upon by both clubs. As per Patrick Berger, City will offer a €16m gross per year salary, with a €10m net per year salary to their latest star signing. It will be a significant increase from Marmoush’s salary at Frankfurt, which was €2m per year.
Omar Marmoush will be Manchester City’s fourth signing of this January transfer window so far, as the club plans to bounce back after experiencing a terrible first half in the current season.
Along with Marmoush, City also have agreements in place for Abukodir Khusanov of RC Lens, Vitor Reis of Palmeiras, and Christian McFarlane from New York City FC. According to Sky Sports, the Premier League giants will splash a total of £131.7m to complete these four signings.
Omar Marmoush bids farewell to Eintracht Frankfurt fans
Manchester City-bound Omar Marmoush has played his final game for his soon-to-be former club, Eintracht Frankfurt. The Egyptian forward bid an emotional goodbye to the fans at the end of yesterday's match.
Omar was not named in Frankfurt’s squad following the confirmation of his deal with City. Eintracht still managed to achieve an emphatic 2-0 victory over rivals, Borussia Dortmund.
After the game, an emotional Marmoush was seen heading towards the section of fans, who were chanting their star forward’s name. The Egyptian also took a lap of honour of the Waldstadion to bid farewell to the club that has put him on the map.
Omar Marmoush has been a standout performer for Eintracht since his arrival at the club. In his debut season, the Egyptian instantly burst onto the scene, scoring 16 goals in 37 games across all competitions, while scoring 12 in the Bundesliga.
He has only gone on to become even better this season, scoring a phenomenal 15 goals in just 17 games in the Bundesliga, while also providing 9 assists. In all competitions this season, Marmoush has registered 20 goals and 13 assists, becoming only the third player this season so far, after Mohamed Salah and Raphinha, to reach 30 goal contributions in the top 5 leagues of Europe.
Being one of the highest-rated players this season, a big-money move was quite likely to be on the cards for the talented youngster. With many clubs targeting a move for the Egyptian, it is the reigning Premier League champions who have won the race to get Marmoush’s signature.
