Al-Hilal are planning to launch a ‘huge’ bid in order to sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool. Salah, whose future with the Reds still hangs in the air, has attracted a lot of interest from European and even Saudi Arabian clubs. The star winger’s contract at Liverpool runs down at the end of the current season.

In an exceptional season so far, Mo Salah has recorded 18 goals and 13 assists in just 20 games across all competitions, solidifying his status of being one of the best players in the world. Fans have started calling this Salah’s “second prime,” indicating that the star is only getting better with age. Even a change in the managerial position did not affect the Liverpool’s number 11.

Salah’s incredible displays on a consistent basis have resulted in Liverpool becoming the frontrunners to win all the competitions in which they are competing this season.

The Reds currently stand at the top of the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League points table while competing in the semifinals of the Carabao Cup and the 5th round of the FA Cup. It would be fair to say that Salah is probably the main reason behind this unstoppable Liverpool side.

However, with no fresh updates and constant delays in his contract extension, the LFC fans have started to lose their cool regarding their Egyptian king’s future.

Salah still remains a crucial player for the Reds, whose presence at the club is, as many fans say, “priceless,” and rightly so, as Mo Salah continues to excel at Liverpool, breaking records with unbelievable consistency.

Al-Hilal ready to offer a 'huge' contract to Salah

Saudi giants Al-Hilal are ready to offer a 'huge' contract in order to persuade the Egyptian. According to The Sun, Al-Hilal are set to offer Salah a two-year contract, worth a staggering €65 million. The club has reportedly even made contact with the player’s camp.

Hilal have their eyes set on Mo Salah as they plan to make him the next ‘poster boy’ of the club, following the increasing possibility of Neymar Jr.’s departure.

Al-Hilal are not the first Saudi Arabian club to show their interest in the winger. In the summer of 2023, Al-Ittihad offered an enormous £155 million contract to Salah while making a bid of £52 million to Liverpool for their star player.

Despite the great amount of money, both Liverpool and Salah rejected the offer without even considering it, reportedly.

It is actually quite an extraordinary situation at the Liverpool camp. Arguably three of Liverpool’s most crucial players, Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, have found themselves very close to the end of their contracts.

While Van Dijk has offered relief to the fans, Salah’s comments on the situation have done the opposite for the Liverpool fans.

In an interview back in November, Salah spoke about his situation, saying that he is “more out than in.” He maintained his stance in his recent interview with Sky Sports by stating, “No, we are far away from that [contract], and I don't want to put anything in the media,” posing a serious doubt regarding his future at Liverpool amidst contacts from other clubs.
